NAWO Youth Caucus CSW 57 Blog
Welcome to the NAWO Youth Caucus CSW57 blog!
We are a group of 8 Sixth Form students based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, who will be representing the NAWO Youth Caucus at the 57th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women in New York from the 1-9th March. We are hoping for this blog to provide you with information about us as both individuals as well as as a group, allowing us to publish our journey and experience in the run up to and the duration of CSW57.
We all come from a range of backgrounds, with some of us having been involved with simulated politics both within and outside our academic studies. Having had political experience or not, we all share a common belief that our voices are essential in the progression of equality between women and men. Our role at CSW57 will be to present speeches and answer questions on policy areas we have spoken on to those attending, allowing others to listen to the wealth of opinions we have to offer.
Below you will find a short introduction to who we are and which events we will be speaking at, at the United Nations, New York.
