ESVC Summit
The End Sexual Violence in Conflict Summit was held at ExCel London, 10 – 13 June 2014 and was co-chaired by Foreign Secretary William Hague and Angelina Jolie.
NAWO held a panel event which addressed gender equality as the root of all gender-based violence – from sexual harassment on a bus to sexual violence in conflict. The panel was chaired by the Minister for Women, Rt. Hon. Nicky Morgan MP; with Jane Kiragu (speech), Marai Larasi (speech), Eleanor Lisney and Elizabeth Gordon (speeches) all providing powerful speeches on this topic. You can find their biographies here.
