This year’s theme #BreakTheBias shows that knowing that bias exists is not enough to make the world a more equal place.
It emphasises that only through collective actions we can truly make a difference – bias and discrimination do not respect borders or nations and are present everywhere we let them grow.

This International Women’s Day comes a week before the start of this year’s session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW66).
NAWO together with NAWO Young Women’s Alliance (YWA) and delegates from NAWO member, Stroud High School, will be working to #BreakTheBias on an international level through participating in forums, conversations, and statements.
