In conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women (UNTF), #OrangeCampaign was launched. Enlisting the support of international designer Daniella Helayel (designer of the iconic Issa engagement dress for Catherine Middleton), the LDNY Foundation and UN Trust Fund are inviting companies and organisations to host a corporate #OrangeDay on the 25th of a month of their choice.
This collaboration, entitled “Women United”, is a global initiative aimed at helping to end violence against women, which is the number one killer of women around the globe.
Helayel has designed a classic new dress design that suits a cross section of women, regardless of size, age or body shape. The dresses, along with matching scarves, come in eight exclusive orange prints (to match the official UN Trust Fund colour) with 50% of the proceeds going to the UN Trust Fund. Men can be involved too – renowned menswear designer and Savile Row tailor Ozwald Boateng has designed a beautiful set of ties that comes in a range of patterns.
