Britain Stronger in Europe – information for Charities

The Conservatives’ election manifesto promised to hold a referendum on whether the United Kingdom should stay in or leave the European Union. One possible date for the referendum is June 2016 but both the first minister of Northen Ireland Arelene Foster and first minister of Wales Carwyn Jones joined Scotland’s Nicola Sturgeon in a call for the EU referendum not to be held in June as it could distract from elections for the devolved admnistrations.
